5. Make a donation**. MCWC has organized in order to gather research, educate, and communicate information to the public on the current issue. Mailings, telephone contacts, legal representation, and other expenses are being incurred in order to keep voters, property owners and taxpayers advised of the status of the Nestle project as well as represent the members or MCWC in public forums.

2. Let your voice be heard (see sample letters),    

3. It is time to let your voice be heard again (Sample LETTERS and TALKING POINTS).

4. COUNCIL OF GREAT LAKES GOVERNORS  See who they are and contact them.

1. Nestle's pumping...". These are the addresses of Governors of the Great Lakes Basin. Also  Steven Chester MDEQ.

2. Send letters to the decision makers in Michigan's Department of Environmental Quality and Department of Community Health, as well as our US Representatives and Senators. Ask them what they are doing to protect Michigan's water from damage by water bottling companies.

3. Express your concern to local store managers who carry Ice Mountain in their establishments.

4. Boycott Ice Mountain and Nestle products.

5. Post links to saveMIwater.org on your website.

6. Tell people about saveMIwater.org in your emails. Post a message about the saveMIwater.org to your e-mail list serves. Add a line with a link to saveMIwater.org to your e-mail signature. Tell your family, friends, coworkers and organizations about the potential threats water bottling companies pose to Michigan's water.

7. Find out what water bottling companies are doing in Michigan. Share information about the water bottling industry with saveMIwater.org. If you have articles, reports, or other information you would like to share with the public, e-mail or mail them to us for inclusion in our news & archives section, as appropriate.
